Field Trip to Dakshinchithra Heritage Museum
The students of grade 6 and 7 visited Dakshinchithra Heritage Museum on 07.08.24 The objective of this field trip was to acquaint the students with the rich and diverse culture of South India. The students were awestruck by the exhibits and cultural performances. They enjoyed trying their hands at various crafts and came back enriched after yet another thrilling experience.
LIM – Family Day
Family Training as a part of LIM- CONNECT was kicked off today by the students of Grade 9. The students presented an engaging presentation about what they have learnt in the Leader In Me Programme. Their explanation of each habit , gained value with role plays to exhibit the application of each habit in everyday life, with placards displaying the paradigms of each habit. This can be called a Student Led event because right from scripting, designing invites, greeting and welcoming parents, making leadership batches and creative take aways to putting up the entire show was initiated by the students while the teachers played the role of facilitators. The program culminated with an energetic leadership song where all the four sections came together on stage.
U 14 National T20 Cricket Tournament
We proudly congratulate our students who were selected to be a part of the state team for U 14 National T20 Cricket Tournament, organised by GCFI ( Global Cricket Federation of India) With the entry of TN into. The Nationals our boys have a bright chance of exhibiting their talent at national level.

Inter School Athletic Competition
Hearty congratulations to the students who participated in the Inter School Athletic competitions held on 28July 2024, organised by Kids Sports Federation of India & Tamil Nadu Physical Education Sports University and won various medals in Under-8, U-10, U-12, U-14, U-16. They bagged 15 gold medals, 7 silver medals and 7 bronze medals.

Field Trip to Guindy National Park by Grade 1
A Day of Adventure and Learning: The Grade 1 students embarked on an exciting field trip to Guindy National Park on August 7th 2024. The children were thrilled to see different types of deer, peacocks, a variety of birds in their natural habitat and reptiles.
The trip to Guindy National Park was more than just a day out; it was a valuable educational experience that left a lasting impression on the young minds. The Grade 1 students returned to school with a deeper understanding of nature and beautiful memories that will stay with them for years to come.

The Students of Grade 4 Field Trip to Birla Planetarium
The students of grade 4 visited Birla planetarium on August 7th 2024, to explore more about the lesser known world ‘space’. This mystical journey took them out of our planet, making them appreciate the vastness of creation by kindling their curiosity and nurturing their imagination. This was also an opportunity for our students to build on their social skills, being given an opportunity to bond with their peers beyond the four walls of their classroom.
Workshop on “The Art of Storytelling in Media” for Mass Media Students
The Mass Media students of SRMPS attended an engaging, exciting workshop on the topic ‘The Art of Story telling in Media’ by the resource person Mrs.Sulabha – Harmony life coach, on August 07, 2024 at Easwari Hall.The workshop took an in-depth approach to enlighten our students about the interactive art of using words and actions with improvisation and theatrical expressions. The session progressed with many fun and energetic activities that hyped the interest and involvement of the participants. Students grouped up and made presentations for a product. The workshop was an ultimate fun experience for the students with lots of laughter .
