Workshop on Parenting Matters
On December 7, 2024, Dr. K. R. Maalathi conducted a session titled “Parenting Matters” at SRM Public School for Kindergarten parents. The session focused on empowering parents with insights into nurturing emotionally resilient children, emphasizing the critical importance of early childhood development. Dr. Maalathi highlighted that daily routines and unconditional love are essential for fostering happy, confident individuals. The interactive format allowed parents to better understand their influence on their child’s happiness, resulting in overwhelmingly positive feedback regarding the session’s relevance and impact.

With a focus on weaning off the students from time wasted on Social Media, the session sensitised the youngsters on finding a purpose in their life, not settling for mediocrity and showing gratitude. Physiotherapy Session Titled ‘Healthy Teachers’
To promote the physical and mental well-being of its faculty members, SRMPS organized an enriching physiotherapy session titled ‘Healthy Teachers, Happy Classroom’ on November 16, 2024, at Valliammai Hall from 1:30 pm to 3:30 pm for all the faculty members. The session addressed usual health related issues for men and women, in separate sessions. It provided insights on how to maintain hormonal balance, the effects of hormonal deficiencies, and ways to manage stress, anxiety, and depression.
The session included activities to assess the physical strength of the staff and practical workplace exercises designed to help the faculty lead a stress-free and healthy life.
