National Mathematics Day 2024
The National Mathematics Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm and zest by the teachers of the Dept of Mathematics at SRM Public School, on 20.12.24. Spanning a fortnight before D-Day, a number of competitions were conducted for the students to encourage the joy of learning math. The Mathematics Day celebration marked the culmination of all these activities as the winners of these competitions were recognised with certificates and trophies which they received from the Correspondent of the school, Mr M Subramanian. Earlier in the day, as a part of the celebrations, the Correspondent enthralled the students with challenging questions in Math to tickle the students’ brains. The event held special significance as the school community came together to honor the birth anniversary of the legendary mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan, whose remarkable contributions to mathematics continue to inspire generations.
Educational Fair 2024
With the objective of giving the students an exposure to the wide array of career choices and the best universities where they can pursue their higher studies SRM Public School organised an Educational Fair in the school campus, on 20.12.24. Representatives from more than 35 universities from across the globe attended the fair and interacted with the students across grades 9-12. The Fair witnessed the enthusiastic participation of students and parents alike, as they thronged each stall gathering in depth information about the various universities.

Workshop on Parenting Matters
On December 7, 2024, Dr. K. R. Maalathi conducted a session titled “Parenting Matters” at SRM Public School for Kindergarten parents. The session focused on empowering parents with insights into nurturing emotionally resilient children, emphasizing the critical importance of early childhood development. Dr. Maalathi highlighted that daily routines and unconditional love are essential for fostering happy, confident individuals. The interactive format allowed parents to better understand their influence on their child’s happiness, resulting in overwhelmingly positive feedback regarding the session’s relevance and impact.
